Biography

Ma Guiwen has been engaged in podiatric orthopedics and reconstructive surgery for more than 29 years, focusing on small-incision visualized hallux valgus, interdigital valgus, little toe varus, hammer toe, mallet toe, claw toe, long toe shortening, hallux slimming, wide-foot narrowing, intractable ingrown toenail, and other diagnostic and therapeutic surgeries. He has accumulated experience in nearly 10,000 toe correction and reconstructive procedures.

After nearly 30 years of innovative development, since obtaining the first national utility model patent on May 23, 2001, he has successively developed more than 40 patents. In collaboration with Dr. Bi Hongsen of Peking University Third Hospital, 10 patents jointly developed in 2019 were recognized as scientific and technological achievements of Peking University Third Hospital. In 2021, Mawen Podiatry Group acquired the patent achievements of Peking University Third Hospital, and the ownership of the patents belongs to Mawen Podiatry Physician Group. By the end of October 2023, Mawen Podiatry Physician Group had obtained approval for a total of 48 patents, including 2 invention patents and 46 utility model patents.
